CARDIAC IMAGING
In March 2006, the Network established a sub-group to consider
the provision and use of non-invasive Cardiac Imaging across North West
London.
The group was established to review how organisations could collaborate
more effectively in the provision and future developments of these services;
taking into account the improved availability of established imaging
modalities alongside the emergence of new imaging techniques. Since then, the group have put together a comprehensive guide to Cardiac Imaging in NW London.
The group
is chaired by Professor Roxy Senior, Professor of Cardiology and Consultant Cardiologist (Echo) at the Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Trust. Membership of
the group includes a variety of providers and users from both a clinical
and managerial background spanning: echocardiography, radionuclide imaging,
magnectic resonance imaging and x-ray computed tomography. |
