NWL In-patient Cardiology Transfer and Risk Assessment Form
The NWLCN has been working with clinicians and managers across the network to improve the waiting time for patients requiring transfer to a specialist centre for Angiogram, Angioplasty or other cardiology treatment. Part of this work has involved the development of a standardised referral form and risk stratification tool to ensure that all patients across North West London are assessed, treated and referred in the same manner.
Clopidogrel Prescribing Guidelines
The primary care sub-group have developed joint prescribing guidance on the use of Clopidogrel with acute care.
Statin Guidelines
The NWLCN has agreed joint guidelines on the use of Statin's in Primary and Secondary care across North West London.
Symptom Control Guidelines

Traffic Light System
Over the past 3 months the network has developed the arrhythmia traffic light system. It is a simple tool designed to support the diagnosis, triage and referral of arrhythmia patients presenting within primary care.
